Love xkcd.
We’re down to the wire, but fear not! My predictions and desires below! Not all categories are covered. This is because I don’t care about those categories.

Should: “Day & Night” possibly… it’s the only one of the nominated animated (noanimated?) shorts I’ve seen.

As I’m sure many of you are aware, a few celebrities including KimmyK and LadyGags recently abstained from tweeting until $1,000,000 was raised for an AIDS charity. This goal was reached recently, primarily as a result of a donation of half a million smackers from a pharmaceutical entrepreneur. Since the rest of the donations were coming in at—let’s be generous—a trickle, we can assume that the world wasn’t too broken up about missing out on a few celebrity microthoughts. I can only interpret this as a Christmas miracle.
But lest we get too cheerful about the state of the world, we should remember that we are still part of a society wherein it is possible for celebrities to generate revenue not only by spending their time doing lackluster, unimpressive things, but also by doing absolutely nothing at all.
